Welcome to my (currently under construction) personal page!

I'm Periklis Petridis, an incoming PhD student at MIT's Operations Research Center (ORC). I'm very fortunate to be advised by Prof. Dimitris Bertsimas

Broadly, I am interested in Mathematical Optimization, Machine Learning, and their applications. Before MIT, I also worked on Autonomous Vehicles, Deep Learning, and Optimal Control.

Prior to MIT, my undergraduate studies were in Electrical & Computer Engineering in Aristotle University of Thessaloniki. There, I was member Aristurtle, the first Formula Student Driverless team in Greece. My undergraduate thesis was on Optimization Methods for Low-Rank Matrix Approximation and their application in System Identification.
